I am unimpressed with his stat line. Maybe one of the other sith will have "next attak is a critical attack" force ability for the flurry to rub off on! _________________ Press 1 for American

Ah, the ol use the force 3, that wasw my favorite luke FP until Luke and yoda came out, I'd rather erase 3 attacks then give 1 _________________ "Dad seems to haved Thawed a little toward him; I still despise him.

I just traded for a Darth Nihl yesterday. I have personally been wanting him since the legacy set came out. I know he is not the most powerful Sith mini in the set, but when ran next to Krayt or Talon, it seems he would be good for clearing the path for them, or softening up a commander or squad leader for them to finish off. I can see quite a few uses for him already.
*** Warning! Legacy Comic Book Spoiler (Issue 1)***
However, I do see a few things out of place here. First of all he should at least have force lightning that does 40 damage and can effect multiple enemies. Not just one. I mean in the ocmics Nihl kills Kol Skywalker, and like 10 Stormtroopers with a knarly display of force lightning all at once. He could be more competitive with that, but nooooooo! _________________ "The force is an abyss thats depths can never be reached. There is no mastery." |

A quote from the current online rules advisor for SWM:
Nothing about SWM, the RPG, or any other game you could create will ever completely accurately portray the written/filmed events of the fictional universe because the demands of a game are so fundamentally different from the demands of a narrative story as to make it pointless to try. There will always be some abstraction. The idea is to capture some of the spirit of the source material, not every little detail.

Now that I have my Nihl I run him with Krayt and force lightning anything that moves, that or tripple attack. These two can do some serious damage when within 6 of eachother. I dont see where the dissapointment comes from, Nihl could be better ya, but what mini cant for that matter? _________________ "The force is an abyss thats depths can never be reached. Except that Nihl isn't a follower, thus not subject to Krayt's CE. _________________ Come join the Star Wars Mini Plaground on Decktech.

Wait.. so if you have CE's, you can't follow other players CE's in the same squad? How does that work?
So in this case I cant bonus with Nihl or Krayt, but I can the Dark Jedi Master? _________________ "The force is an abyss thats depths can never be reached. There is no mastery." |

It depends on the specific CE in question.
Darth Nihl's CE effects Followers, which means Allies without a Commander Effect. Since Krayt has a Commander Effect, he's not a Follower and therefore not able to benefit from Nihl's CE. The Dark Jedi Master is a Follower, so he meets the requirement specified
If Nihl's CE said it affected Allies, then Krayt would get it'

Well darn it, there goes my Flurry attack with Krayt and my extra attack with Nihl. Thanks for clearing that up though. Now I wonder what other mistakes I might have been making in the game. _________________ "The force is an abyss thats depths can never be reached. There is no mastery." |

Yeah, with all of the rules in existence now, plus new ones coming out in every set, it's easy to get confused or just downright wrong. I know I've been. But he's right. If the CE specifically states "Allies", then others with CE's will benefit. If it says "Followers", then other Commanders won't get the bonus. _________________ "The Dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural." |
