1st Commandment: THOU SHALL BE KIND TO NEIGHBORS

You cannot insult anyone under any circumstances. This also applies to their squads, customs, etc. You may give advice, but it becomes a problem when it crosses the line. This is a forum where people and their work are to be respected and evaluated; with appropriate advice given. If someone is violating the rule, let a moderator or Yoda know. Do NOT post an argument in response, it will only make things worse.

Second Commandment: THOU SHALL NOT USE LEET

Don't use leet! The majority of the casual net population just doesn't understand it and know how to read it. Try to be as literate as possible when posting, grammar and punctuation is a plus. It just makes it easier for everyone. Of course, gunrunner already has no hope, so he gets the exception.

Third Commandment: THOU SHALL USE "4 WORD RULE"

Use at least four words in each post, with some exceptions like in Word Association. Otherwise, let's keep it 4 words or more.

Fourth Commandment: THOU SHALL STAY G-RATED

Let's keep this place G rated, so no swearing up the house. I'd list the words that you are unallowed to use, but then I'd be considered a hypocrite. So, you know what shouldn't be said, so don't say it. Once in a while isn't too bad, but please, don't make it a habit. We have filters in place to remove the words should someone break this rule, multiple used (even though they are filtered) will result in a suspension or ban.

Fifth Commandment: THOU SHALL NOT MULTI-POST

Don't be multi-posting. I know it happens by accident, but delete your extra post. You have a handy little button that's called "Edit", so if you want to say something else, use that instead of "Post Reply" or "Quote". Also, if you cannot delete your post, PM one of us mods and we'll help ya out. (This is just asking for a little help for the mods, and just general courtesy). Please, do not spam, and try your best to figure out the proper board when posting a new topic.

Sixth Commandment: THOU SHALL NOT ABUSE PM SYSTEM

Although we may not be able to see PMs, don't be PMing other people with harassing messages. Doing so is immature, and will possibly lead you to being banned. If you are being harassed, PM one of us mods and we'll do what we can. The use of PMs can be taken away on a individual basis, and will be enforced.

Seventh Commandment: THOU SHALL NOT RESURRECT

No one is a necromancer here (not even Kaine). Do NOT resurrect old threads. What does that mean? Don't be posting in threads that haven't been posted on for a long time, unless you have an important reason for doing so.

Eight Commandment: THOU SHALL NOT MOB OR FLAME

Do not mob/flame! This is not a good thing. When two members are going at it, ignore it, don't take sides. That only accelerates the situation, and makes for a bad experience. It also means for a lot of punished people, because mobbers will be handled just as harshly.

Ninth Commandment: THOU SHALL REMEMBER THE MORTALITY

Remember that us mods are human (or wolf in Greywolf's situation). Odds are, we won't catch everything that happens immediately. PM a mod and we'll take care of it. Don't be a hero.

Tenth Commandment: THOU SHALL STAY ON DISCUSSION

Try to stay on discussion and not drift off into other topics on threads outside of the "What's Up" section. It gets annoying if it starts off talking about a new squad and ends up talking about the weather. Trust me, it's better that way.

So, if anyone has questions, go ahead and PM a mod. We don't bite (except Greywolf), so don't be shy.
